New build with Asus ROG Strix Z690-G motherboard and 13700k. Storage uses a 2TB Kingston KC3000 NVMe M.2 SSD, which is the sole drive in the system and has no associated data. The power supply is 850W. I’m unable to access the BIOS or install Windows (Windows 11 Home 64-bit) to identify this drive in the M.2-1 slot. In the chipset, the M.2 slots appear in BIOS under EZmode as "Storage Information: RAID:" but not in the boot tab or for NVMe devices. No further details appear in the BIOS, and Windows setup also fails to detect it. I’ve moved the drive to another machine where it was initially recognized in Disk Manager, allowing me to format it as GBT with an NTFS volume. After reinstalling Windows on the new system, it still didn’t boot or appear in Disk Manager or Windows tools. Since no OS is installed yet, I can’t use any management software. I’m trying different BIOS versions and updating, but nothing works. Any guidance would be invaluable.

Send to retailer as DOA. Request replacement or alternative NVME drive.
