Hi,
MS Update added KB5065426 to my system last night. Currently, no USB-connected device works. The network/ethernet printer is non-functional, and desktop search isn’t operational. File Explorer opens but appears grayed out with no drives visible. After turning off the PSU switch, setting it for 5 minutes, and then powering it back on, Windows took 43 minutes to boot to the desktop! CPUZ stops when reaching 'Storage'. I checked for SSD firmware updates several months ago but found none available. The system was fully functional yesterday!
System: (running at normal speeds)
Motherboard: ASRock X870E Nova
CPU: Ryzen 9 9900X
SSD: Crucial T705 2TB NVMe
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 2 x 16GB

If you reach the Recovery Environment;
check if you can carry out a system restore;
before the update is applied.

Verify the condition of your storage devices and perform diagnostics. Is Crucial T705 2TB the sole drive in the system?

I cannot access the recovery screens above.
After restarting from Win11, I see "attempting repairs" but the system remains unresponsive. After two hours, I shut down and waited for two hours before turning it off. Once back on, I waited an hour after switching off the PSU before trying to boot. During this time, I was doing other tasks nearby.

I managed to type during the 43-minute wait after the boot.
CrystalDiskInfo cannot run; Disk Management only displays "loading Disk Configuration info." File Explorer shows an empty window and does not respond.

Several HDDs are connected, but they functioned properly before this update.
My PSU is a Corsair SF-1000 and the GPU is an NVIDIA 4060.
Both Chrome and Firefox show random jittering of tabs when I type—pages shift up and down by about half an inch at irregular intervals. Pressing ESC stops it.

While typing, CrystalDiskInfo appeared, indicating the T705 boot drive is "GOOD" with all items blue.
I attempted a repair install of Windows 11 (repair version) via Recovery, but encountered a download error (0x80070005).
The issue appears to be in Windows Update—Advanced Options → Recovery → Fix Problems using Win Update. Restarting now should reinstall the current version; your apps, files, and settings will remain intact.

What are the names of your drive models? Are they internal or external (connected via USB)? Diagnose each drive. I think one of them might be failing. Display screenshots from CrystalDiskInfo for all drives. (Upload to imgur.com and share the link)
Delete all other drives—only keep the OS drive connected. Restart Windows. Shut down and reconnect the remaining drives one at a time. Reboot after each addition.

Here is the rewritten version:

I wanted to share that everything seems to be working now. All USB MB headers were included. Connecting them one by one and allowing Win to rediscover them resolved most of the problems. However, I'm currently using the "Windows 11 Home Insider Preview" version.
Build: 26100.ge.release.240331-1435
I never chose this option and was running Pro instead of Home. On the Win Update page, when I try to opt out of the insider program, only enrollment options are available. I don't want to be part of this.
