Through my study of this game, I've gathered various opinions and I'm curious to know if you can address these points. Will the game require payment upon full release? (I’m hoping it does so to avoid a big rush of Aurora on opening day.) Are the police AI-controlled? If you commit a crime against new players, will you be marked as 'wanted'? What happens if you don’t have insurance on a $400 ship and it’s hit? Do you lose it permanently? (You’d better not) Can players steal ships? Will popular ships like the 890 Jump and Pheonix reappear before launch? Please help with any of these questions. Thanks, Leighton

I agree with these points, I haven’t explored the game details much, yet I’m definitely on board with the excitement.

The game is expected to sell for a standard $60 price upon full release, which should attract players to grab one of the initial titles. Law enforcement elements will include AI officers monitoring legal zones in space, alongside human agents handling contracts and enforcement. The Avenger character serves as a law enforcement unit. Players might face consequences if they engage in griefing, with penalties such as being grouped with other offenders. Ship insurance is crucial—losing a $400 vessel without coverage results in permanent loss unless you have proper protection. Not all ships will be immediately available post-launch; most will be accessible through the public release. EDIT: LeightonPC’s recent activity means you’ll receive updates when relevant responses occur. Edited June 4, 2015 by Wauthar

In my understanding, the only bold is present. I've emphasized the questions in bold while keeping the answers in regular text.

The term "readily obtainable" doesn't fully capture the situation. Many ships are now restricted because their availability is tied to the multiplayer Persistent Universe. The system likely limits production each year in specific areas, making it harder to find them than buying locally. Some vessels, especially alien and military types, can only be acquired through theft.

This idea is quite compelling. I really believe it enhances the sense of realism. I’m curious about how the system will handle fresh players and growing populations.

I see, it would really enhance the experience. Having a vessel capable of traveling to an alien realm to retrieve a specific ship would be exciting, adding a convenient stop for taxi-style ships. I’d like it if only the simplest vessels were easily identifiable.
