Hello! I bought a custom PC made by Microcenter, but I've had problems before even buying it. Even my old computer was having trouble gaming really well with low ping and lag. But web browsing and watching YouTube or Netflix videos would buffer and act slow like crazy. I have my DNS set to Google's public IPv4 and turned off IPv6 on my router. Any help would be great! I've been fighting this issue for about 4 years (lol). And I never really knew a forum like this existed, nor did I know where or who to ask for help before now.

It is better to turn off IPv6 on your computer too. I think that's a good idea.

Do you know where the DNS is located? Is it on the computer or on the router? If it's on the router, maybe you should try changing the DNS on the PC to see if that fixes things.

I just found this setting only on my computer, not on the router. Do you really want to try it?
