Just put in a new cooler and the CPU isn’t starting anymore.
I attempted to set up my Dark Rock Pro and after finishing the installation, my computer wouldn't start. It froze on the first debug prompt, but everything else—mouse, keyboard, case, and CPU fans—seemed to power up. Could this be due to something going wrong during the setup? It was a bit messy because I installed it directly onto the motherboard inside the case. Could I have accidentally damaged it? It’s a 5600X in a B450 Tomahawk.
I'll remove the motherboard, CPU cooler and CPU. Reattach them individually, checking each step carefully. Watch for bent pins or any issues. Once the CPU and cooler are back inside the case, reinstall them without rushing to connect cables and ensure it boots. If it doesn't work, provide more details such as CPU brand, motherboard model and photos from different angles so we can diagnose the problem.
