Just made changes to my son's MSI BIOS using a 16GB USB drive formatted with NTFS.
The motherboard is a PRO B650-VC WIFI II with an updated UEFI and NTFS formatted USB. I didn't even consider it, because it accepted it. It updated and everything looks fine. Could I have made a mistake?
Does the latest boards handle NTFS without issues now?
If it functions, it operates correctly? Simply verify the version displayed on the BIOS screen.
If it couldn't read the stick it wouldn't see the file or give you the option to flash it. Modern machines are much less picky about drive format than they used to be, nothing to worry about.
It's increasingly frequent for boards to adopt the NTFS format.
