It seems like the power supply unit might be the issue. The PC starts up normally, but the RGB lights and LEDs aren't working. Could the 8-pin CPU cable be the problem?

Many people believe the issue lies with power supplies, as they tend to degrade quickly during power fluctuations. This leads to reduced efficiency and more heat generation. Cheaper models age faster, especially when handling higher loads like 600 watts in a 600-watt case. A 650-watt unit experiences greater stress than a 400-watt one. Some suppliers pass quality checks but fail in shipping due to hidden defects. This highlights the need for a PSU tester costing $15–$25, to verify power output and voltage consistency. If your unit doesn’t meet expectations—such as a rail delivering less than specified voltage—there could be serious problems. A review of another product from the same brand shows poor tolerance levels, suggesting potential reliability concerns.

I believe more than half of these instances aren't due to the PSU (though I think it's closer to half of them being caused by a human error—just my opinion). Regarding the 600W rating, it makes sense for an older PSU that operates near its maximum capacity. But is that accurate? I’m not sure. (And a large PSU wearing out quickly compared to a smaller one seems odd.) Endorfy though—what’s that name? Not listed on the local PSU directory. Edited June 14, 2023 by leclod

Endorfy comes under SPC Gear/SilentiumPC. SilentiumPC is well-regarded in Europe. I purchased it due to positive reviews and its fully modular design with 80+ gold options.

I really think the issue might be related to the monitor. The CPU and RAM are all functioning properly, and the motherboard is working as expected, so I’m hoping it’s just the screen. I’ll test another one today and also check the display port as a backup.

You might also consider watching a TV show.

It functions properly! I switched to another monitor and everything operated smoothly. No need for a new cable.
