Used components: i5 13600kf from Gigabyte Z690, gaming x DDR4 32GB, Corsair Vengeance RGB RT 3600MHz, Endorfy Supremo FM5 750W, Asus Turbo 1080Ti.
What I attempted: Swapped RAM slots, used only one RAM stick, replaced BIOS battery, verified all cables, plugged HDMI into GPU, updated BIOS, checked standoffs.
Tried multiple HDMI cables; PC powers on normally but the mainboard shows a red boot LED only. Monitor doesn’t receive signal.

Several users connect their HDMI cable to the motherboard only to notice they can't display anything. All power connections are secure, and the GPU fan continues to operate.

There are four LEDs on the Z690 gaming DDR4 motherboard. I reviewed the manual, and the one that stays lit is marked as "boot." The CPU, RAM, and VGA controls don't show any lights.

I also verified the pins on my mainboard, and everything appears fine. There’s no visible disruption in each pin lane when viewed from different angles. It seems I’ll have to test another monitor, as I’m running out of options right now.

Consider using a display port instead. Some BIOS settings won't show on HDMI, while others work with the display port. Don't assume a faulty cable is the issue—verify all connections are secure. Check your motherboard manual and inspect each connector thoroughly. Lastly, the power supply could be the culprit; I’m pretty sure it often comes up first.
