Hello, after performing a complete hard drive wipe and a BIOS update, you're experiencing RAM errors. Previously everything functioned smoothly, but now the RAM reads are abnormal, leading to crashes and download failures.

Consider reverting the BIOS settings. Adjust frequency and timing gently, then reinsert RAM carefully. Updated March 12, 2025 by leclod

I've reverted the BIOS settings, tested multiple configurations but none succeeded, attempted to adjust the frequency, and haven't changed the timer settings after enabling XMP yet. Planning to update those now.

I tried a similar fix two years ago. Disconnect the computer from any power source, keeping all internal parts connected—including RAM. Shut off the power supply and hold the power button for 30 seconds to fully discharge everything. After reconnecting, it worked. This method helped resolve an unstable RAM issue I had after updating my BIOS.

I'm planning to give it a shot as well! I adjusted the settings, it hasn't crashed yet, though there are still problems loading files and sudden increases in size.

Additionally, I'm facing problems with downloading on Epic, encountering error messages consistently. Clicking those errors redirects me back to the same screen prompting for a memory check.

Your hardware details include a CPU, RAM, and MOBO. The RAM setup is either four sticks or two sticks.
