Just Cause 3!
Just Cause 3!
Really, avoid preordering—it's a bad move; we should let it go.
I didn't mean to pre-order. I was just highlighting it as an available choice for those who might be interested. Also, I shared this as a potential update for anyone looking into it.
It's very likely this will happen. Usually, it only occurs with indie games that aren't made or completed (though not always). My "point" isn't really an argument but a prediction—you can't be sure if it won't come out at all, just like I can't be certain about its outcome. I'm just trying to share the news and get the excitement going.
I really enjoyed Just Cause 2—the first game I played—and I’ve been eager for a follow-up called C.
I had a preorder for Rocksmith 2014 plus South Park under a scheme promising two games for 70€, while there was also a -10€ discount tied to the order code. I thought it was a solid offer, especially for the cable version. In other cases, any extra perk beyond a price cut or early access felt like a scam. The initial reviews and public reaction suggest that early buyers might end up with lower-quality versions. DLCs usually feel like junk; real expansions should add meaningful content. Whatever happens, it seems there are enough people who buy games in fragments for 100€ just to support those who dislike the approach and eventually get full editions at a better price. JC2 had decent value, but I haven’t heard much about Avalanche since they mentioned launching a mobile studio.
I'm okay unless there are solid pre-order incentives. When I ordered Hitman Absolution for PC, I received three additional Hitman titles as well as a 10% discount. I might think about pre-ordering a PC if Steam offers strong pre-order perks; otherwise, I'll wait for the Summer Sale.
