I'm facing a tough time setting up the permissions again, since I'm reinstalling Ubuntu for the third time because of this issue. The process involved installing on Jellyfin using the latest Ubuntu desktop build. I set up a startup account named bob and downloaded two public domain test videos that are now stored on drive 2. The drive was auto-mounted to /media/bob/stuff, but access is being denied as shown in all logs when trying to reach /media/bob/. When using the Jellyfin add media tool, it only lists /media/bob/ and reports permission errors. I'm not sharing this on Reddit because the more experienced Linux fans are already looking up permissions.
