What's the point of his latest video? It looks like he's doing undervolting with xtu using a single pass of R23 for stability. Make sure you understand that R23 isn't meant for CPU stress testing—it's more about simulating heat if you follow that video closely. People might see blue screens and it’s a big warning to watch the voltage on the video, not the core temperature. Don’t copy his instructions blindly!

It varies by processor; for the 7800X3D it's the most demanding workload due to the boost system's settings. In the 13th generation it's still quite intense but not the peak performance possible.

R23 shows no signs of being a stability test; even if I finish R15, it will still fail on an unstable system. I’d need better recommendations for CPU stress tests besides p95 since it keeps heating the CPU excessively, even during minimal loads.

You're not familiar with 7800X3D, yet Linpack Extreme causes your 5800X3D to overheat more at higher fan speeds compared to R23. It might be related to missing AVX512 support.

The 5800X3D performs quite differently compared to the 7800X3D when it comes to optimization. Based on my experience with that processor, Linpack will reach its maximum performance at 65°C on an AK620, whereas R23 hits 85°C under stock configurations and fan curves. Since R23 doesn't utilize AVX 512, this shouldn't be a concern.

I just watch his build videos. He’s overly biased, especially when he tries to give FPS gaming tips—it’s really poor at it.

Jay has no interest in computers; he’s really into cars. Most folks think these videos aren’t meant to be accurate, but I’m just here for fun—though maybe the accuracy is a bit overstated!

He's quite familiar with mechanical topics, though his expertise is limited. The information he provides is often inaccurate or derived from unverified online myths.

My 5800x3D shows different results, but I also checked OCCT and P95—no major changes after PBO2 -30. I wouldn’t run these tests without checking voltage, since the chip performs well in normal use like gaming or editing.
