It's really fun discussing Dark Souls, but it seems you're not paying attention!
Suikoden II (PS1, try it on an emulator) Everything Touhou (latest version is Touhou 14, featuring numerous indie titles) covers genres like Bullet hell, 2D fighting, 2D platforming, 3D combat, 3D Bullet Hell for Oculus Rift, Visual Novels, Tower Defense, RTS, and RPGs. Melty Blood (2D fighter) is a solid pick—play the main Touhou titles (versions 6-14 on Windows) at maximum difficulty, so challenging you’ll need endless continues just to make progress. For example, Touhou Sky Arena offers a 3D fighter inspired by Gundam vs. Gundam. If you enjoy quick-paced games, Kantai Collection is available online only (requires Japanese IP and DMM account) and the upcoming Virgin Strike—though its name seems unusual.
The title seemed to be missing or unclear. It’s an interesting game, though—it’s region-locked and I can’t access it on Steam. I almost lent a PS3 copy from a friend, but my other friend provided a version for PC instead.
It moves away from stealth-focused mechanics but I enjoy the action and the ability to break enemies into many parts. Check out the PC versions of the Final Fantasy titles.
