I've been complaining to my ISP for about a year now. Interestingly, I've spent roughly the same time playing CSGO. They never spot any issues, even with my internal connections so clean. It seems like no matter what I do online, I can't connect for long during CSGO sessions—other activities let me stay online for hours. What's going on? This isn't just about me; thousands of players experience the same problem. People are saying CSGO kills the internet. Goodbye.

It could be that you're using Euro servers and Valve is Loki (secretly, wow what they're doing there).

WiFi but that is not the issue otherwise the connection would drop indefinitely regardless of playing CSGO or not.

Have you considered using a LAN connection? A friend faced the same issue and resolved it by placing his laptop near the modem and connecting via LAN. Edit: requires continuous connection... web browser... not really.

Discussing the issue of internet loss during CSGO matches is common among players.

I enjoy playing multiplayer games for extended periods... though CSGO seems to have issues with networking. It's strange that this wasn't considered a problem before.

The issue differs depending on each situation... You may want to give it a try to see if it resolves the problem. Once you've tried, you'll realize it's not related to your router or modem.

I transferred my link from the primary router to the spare one on my ASUS device, but the issue persists. Other games aren’t affected.

I disabled DHCP on my router, as per a reading I found—it provided an overly wide IP range, leading to overload issues.
