Hey, it sounds like you're experiencing frequent Windows reinstalls, which might indicate underlying issues. Are you sure the problem isn't with your system or could there be something specific about your setup?

I've managed daily Windows updates for over six years without needing a full reinstall. The key is avoiding frequent downloads of random software from the web and steering clear of third-party tweakers who promise deeper Windows expertise than Microsoft itself. What are you really doing to your device? Do your issues disappear when you reset your login and use that account?

The signs of breaking include sudden pain, visible cracks or fractures, and loss of structural integrity in the affected area.

I tend to grab random stuff online, and my five-year-old setup is holding up well. Perhaps the issue lies in the files being changed by programs like uxthemepatcher, which can cause problems when Windows updates.

I’ve been using the same Windows version ever since I got a PC running Windows XP back in 2008. The original hardware is gone, and I haven’t purchased a new license, so I’ve moved up to Windows 7 and then 10.

Running since 2017 with no significant problems. Yes. Yes... It would be useful if you clarify what "breaking" entails, along with details about the old computer and full specifications! Sledgehammer joins the conversation.
