Attempting to access that site triggered numerous security alerts and privacy restrictions in my browser. The sole justification for using Windows is to appear as a genuine Microsoft customer. Purchasing a key from an untrustworthy source undermines the entire goal, since Microsoft is unlikely to profit from it.
They are inexpensive because they are purchased in other regions, and I’ve learned that sometimes those keys can malfunction. I’m not sure. Do you have an older Windows device? You might be able to remove it from there.
There are alternative sites that are more secure I'll share one soon. I need to locate it now.
I've tried this several times now, but only once the key failed. There are OEM keys so they're meant for one use. (Switching the motherboard might stop it, though a Microsoft account could let you transfer it)
I still have it, but it's a pre-made laptop and the key is built in, so it won't work on another device even if I attempt to remove the license.
Like BondiBlue said either leave it unactivated or buy a legitimate license. I don't see the point of doing anything else.
