I’ve been spending a lot of time on online multiplayer games for a while now, but I’ll always return to SP games eventually... this combination suits me well. Even though I’m getting tired of playing in general, it hasn’t happened for a while. I own several SP titles and really need to play them all—like Fatal Frame 4, Crimson Vipers, Astral Chain... I’ve already found one toilet paper! Right now I’m too busy with other things, but unlocking stuff is what I love the most.

I see what you mean... it actually makes sense, especially since your friends aren't playing anymore. What I do when I play games is set goals—unlock things, reach levels, get upgrades, or collect items. I’m really good at finding free stuff and currency right now; I could probably buy almost any skin for a few hundred dollars. Right now, I mostly focus on gathering currency and taking advantage of the free items the game gives away. If you don’t share that kind of enthusiasm, I don’t think it’s really fun for me. You might just end up getting that mountain bike instead.

It's time to shift your surroundings... or explore something different to spark your enthusiasm. Everyone experiences life stages, and mine did too. I found myself stuck in a loop of FPS games until 2007 when I stumbled upon World of Warcraft—such a refreshing change. If that doesn't help, there might be other issues at play. I'd suggest talking to a counselor.
