Hey everyone, I've been struggling with Unreal Engine graphics lately and had trouble getting Fortnite to run smoothly. After getting a 12GB 3060 card, I'm still seeing around 30 FPS or less, especially on DX12. I end up playing in DX11 with Epic settings, but it doesn't look nearly as good. Recently, I upgraded my power supply and updated the motherboard drivers, yet performance remains poor. I'm not sure what's causing this issue anymore.
You obtained this card from a source that appears to be consistent across your systems. It seems the graphics card is functioning similarly in DX11 and DX12 environments, which suggests it might not be underperforming on your end. Although the 3060 isn't considered a high-end card, you're likely seeing better than 30 frames per second.
The title of the thread is a click bait lie, because an RTX 3060 IS NOT A HIGH END CARD. A whole paragraph has been written, but the full system specifications have not been listed. Then there is the statement that I have quoted here. Base on the evidence, I'm sure this is a sh!t post.
