Windows 10 setup includes two monitors with separate images, but occasionally I need to display one image across both. Over the years, I've faced problems where Windows changes or removes my preferred wallpapers. This usually occurs after waking up from a screensaver or sleep mode, or after closing a game. I've tried various solutions: turned off Sync settings, disabled slideshow, adjusted power saving options, disabled wallpaper changes per monitor, and more. My hardware consists of an R7 5800x, ASUS Prime x470-PRO, MSI 3080, and dual ASUS VG248QG monitors at 165Hz. I aim to set a single wallpaper consistently instead of switching it multiple times daily. Appreciate your help!

I was really counting on discovering a solution at last.

I'm not aware of any specific programs, but I can help identify potential causes if you provide more details.

I shouldn't... I just performed a fresh Windows setup because of problems with my previous SSD and switched to an NVMe drive. This issue has persisted over the years. I want to highlight that even though I've changed my wallpaper to Image, the Theme section displays it as a slideshow when I set the image for my second monitor. If only one image is configured for both monitors, it just shows a single image in the Theme.
