ITX motherboards experience problems with built-in graphics.
I purchased an ITX Gigabyte board (ga-h97n) for a basic HTPC setup. After connecting the necessary components, I tested and received a signal from the HDMI port on the motherboard. Once I organized the cables, it worked again, but then nothing. I rechecked all connections and power cables without success. When I connected an older GTX 950, it booted into BIOS and showed Integrated Graphics as enabled, switching it to IGFX. The issue persisted only during the first test. I’m wondering if there’s a BIOS setting I missed or if using a hot CPU impacts the integrated graphics. My stock cooler is faulty and needs replacement.
The earlier trial you conducted before the complete assembly was a post-test, you mentioned. It was a signal test, but it didn’t show any output or results prior to that.
The initial test was posted correctly, entering the BIOS with no boot drive detected as expected. After connecting the SSD, I encountered an error stating no boot drive found. I’ve removed all components and now receive a signal only after resetting the CMOS and installing a GPU.
