I checked the motherboard specs and noticed the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 header. It seems there aren’t any compatible cases available, but someone might be able to explain its intended use.

You can link it to a front panel USB port. Many listings mention USB-C 3.1 or 3.2, but those details are misleading. The actual USB version depends on the motherboard, while the case only supplies the internal connector and the physical interface.

USB C required a unique interface because of power delivery and additional features that older USB headers couldn't provide. All modern USB C standards function properly. (We'll find out how USB 4 behaves, but it's not ready yet.)
