We might hope, though it seems unlikely we can obtain E and P cores if they decide to do that

Most reports suggest the Ryzen 6000 will use AM4, though we won't have certainty until a January announcement.

No details provided. If it's a cache upgrade, it's likely AM4 since the controller lacks DDR5 support.

I’m hoping yes, I’d like to change since AMD is considered top-tier on Linux.

What's going on? No updates about P/E core design since at least Zen 5. There hasn't been anything suggesting it will be Ryzen 6000. I've heard rumors about the R5000 refresh and R5000 xt, but not the R6000.

I understand your question about the reasoning behind my response.

The last piece of news I heard was about AM4 and that it would only work with 500 series boards. That was just a rumor, though. We'll find out more as the launch approaches.

This update will be part of the upcoming architecture. The Zen3 refresh is likely the final AM4 model I didn’t realize existed, since the X470 now supports Zen3. However, the chipset didn’t gain much popularity among users.

They mentioned they won’t be looking into hybrid CPU designs anymore and will focus on chiplets and complete cores.
