Hello, I’m checking if it’s possible to run MacOS on your HP Z220. The specs you mentioned include an Intel Core i5-3570 at 3.20 GHz, 256GB SSD, 8GB DDR3 RAM, a MSI AMD R7 250 with 2GB RAM, and a 400W PSU. Since this is your first time posting, I’ll do my best to help. Let me know if you need any more details!

Hi Haris, Do you have a genuine Mac available? You'll need it to build your installation media. Plan "B" involves downloading a ready-made VM for Mac OS from a torrent source: <REMOVED> RTFM!!!! You should also install VMWare Workstation or Workstation Player: https://www.vmware.com/products/workstation-player.html I'm attempting to run OS X on an Inspiron 17R SE 7720, which closely matches your system. I'll share what has worked for me. Good luck! zog (EDIT) I previously mentioned a torrent link. It turns out that's not allowed here! Thanks to the moderator for letting me stay in the game, I won't repeat it. Look for a legitimate VMWare version of Mac OS X Sierra. There are authentic copies available.

Just a note, we don’t support piracy or torrent links. --------------------- For the OP, yes—you’re all set. It’s pretty straightforward if you manage to obtain the installer.

Hello, thanks for your response. I’ll attempt to obtain a file. Also, can I set up dual boot between Mac and Windows? I don’t have a physical Mac.

Yes, it's possible to run both Windows and Mac simultaneously. The Clover bootloader can handle this setup, functioning similarly to the GRUB bootloader. You'll require a genuine Mac or a virtual machine with Mac OS X installed. Searching for help is always a good idea!

OK, I found some legitimate links for a copy of OS X. Niresh makes a version of Mojave that will load up into a virtual machine or install diretly onto your machine. You can download the ISO form here: https://www.hackintoshzone.com/files/fil...sh-mojave/ You might have to create an account to download. (EDIT) I found a link that you don't have to register for: http://allmacworld.com/niresh-macos-moja...load-0212/

I'm facing a really tough situation trying to set up an install USB for the Inspiron in VMWare. I need to locate the OS X drive on my Latitude E7270 and get it running. I plan to build an installer that should work on your HP and share it on your web server. I'll send you the link via PM once it's ready. Also, I have several tasks pending, so it might be later this evening before I can finish. (Note: I'm on EST in North America)

I finally got OS X running on my Latitude E7270: I’ll begin working on my Inspiron tomorrow. You should be aware from the start that you’re building a Hackintosh, so focus on the details. You’ll need to adjust things until everything runs smoothly. But once you get the setup right and the right kexts (or drivers for non-Mac users), everything will feel solid and actually outperform a real Mac. I know because some of my friends are graphic designers and they keep telling me how much better my $100 POS laptop is in terms of memory, storage, and speed!

Hey, do you have any success getting the virtual Mac ready? If not, give this EFI for your Clover bootloader a shot and check if it boots. File: EFI-HPZ220-HD4000.zip
