This occurred after removing MSI's dragon center, as I observe my CPU clock speed becoming restricted by this software. Once uninstalled, the CPU temperature fluctuates a lot—sometimes hitting 60°C and then dropping to about 49°C before rising again above 60°C. Many reviews mention the 3900x with AIO cooling stays near 38°C during idle, while their liquid stays around 33°C. I’ve used both NZXT X72 and ASUS RYUJIN 360 AIO coolers, but the idle temps remain high despite adjusting AMD’s quick n cool in BIOS. I noticed a few bent pins after dropping my CPU on a carpet, but it worked out fine. Could these bent pins be contributing to the overheating?

I wouldn't be too concerned. Idle temperatures aren't as important as peak temps. As long as it stays under 80°C during full load, it should be okay. You might want to try boosting the pump speed to check for improvement. I think bending the pins probably won't be the issue, especially if you straighten them and ensure proper CPU socket alignment.

I perform stress tests using AIDA64. The room temperature stays between 55 and 58°C. During Battlefield V sessions, it climbs to 73°C, spikes to 80°C, then drops back to 70°C quickly. Running the pump at full speed didn’t produce noticeable improvement.

I just replaced my cooler yesterday and reapplied the thermal paste. The CPU temperature remains near 30 degrees, and I even noticed a flow of liquid when I first booted up after installing the new cooler. However, once I restarted the computer, the temperature began to increase, and I no longer heard the liquid moving. I’m confident the pump is functioning because I can feel something inside the tube.

It's conceivable the pump could run out of power entirely. You might attempt disconnecting and reconnecting the pump, or switch to a different port on the power supply unit. Having another pump available could help if you notice improved temperatures after startup. This suggests a potential pump or fan curve problem.

The "liquid flowing" sound was probably caused by air bubbles moving through the system. These usually disappear over time. It's normal to find some air inside an AIO, and it rarely causes any issues.

It's true the pump isn't receiving enough power from the PSU since it's using the same cable for two hard drives. Using a separate SATA power cable improved its cooling performance.
