Just because you use Wine doesn't mean you're tied to Adobe, Corel, Epson, MS, or even the Devil himself.

It's the web, not the operating system directly. If you don't wish anyone gathering your data, disconnect your internet connection.

It might relate to the belief that some Linux users feel a bit superior. I still enjoy trying Ubuntu occasionally, but it falls short for most of my needs. Even macOS feels more reliable for my current tasks. Setting up a Hackintosh isn’t as big of a deal, but it’s not the best fit. Most people who use Linux are fine with light work and browsing, but for gaming or serious productivity, it falls behind. I don’t require long-term usefulness—I just want something that works today. Windows and macOS always have an advantage because they’re practical right now, not just future promises.

I mostly use programs that don’t work on OS X... Yet if my software or games worked on Linux, I’d change right away. I really appreciate the customization and the clean design.

As soon as adobe drops a native version of adobe cc, I'll make the change, gimp will always stay better than photoshop.
