Eh, 6 here on my 5960X. It will likely go early next year with whatever's there by then, but probably either top end Ryzen or Threadripper.
Five years can bring many changes. But how many processors are required? I can provide the top recommendations from both manufacturers.
More is ideal, yet at least maintaining the same performance as my current i7 990x. Only Intel can do this... Intel only. I’m saying this again and again. INTEL.
