Fallout 3 is no longer functional. It keeps crashing at startup before launching. I tried a large address-aware mod to make it 64-bit, but that caused the game to fail. After deleting the modified file and re-downloading it from Steam, it still doesn’t work properly.
If you're not altering it for personal reasons, don't worry about the 4GB limit. Modifying shouldn't lead to any issues.
Follow the uninstall steps provided by the mod. Visit Nexus, locate the mod you installed, and proceed to READ. This will allow you to exit without needing to reinstall the game.
