You're looking for a basic Thunderbolt toggle switch that connects two computers with just a few ports and a single button. It should be simple enough to build yourself or find an easy-to-buy option. Here are some ideas:

- Search online for "Thunderbolt 3 toggle switch" or "simple dual host switch." Look for DIY kits or budget models.
- Check forums like Reddit or specialized tech sites—users sometimes share homemade or low-cost setups.
- Consider using a KVM switch with a basic toggle, but it might be overkill unless you need advanced features.
- If you're okay with soldering, you could modify an existing cable adapter or use a micro-USB to USB-C combo as a temporary fix.

If none match your needs, building it yourself is definitely possible. Good luck!

There are 14 wires in each cable, requiring a Y-branch. This results in 42 connections total, with several wires being very thin. You might find an older SCSI rotary switch suitable for handling all the connections on one device.

Thank you @emosun ! Found some hints based on your reply. It's a rabbit hole as you might imagine. Still hopeful someone knows a product before diving into reading TI papers lol.
