All AM5 boards work with the Ryzen 9000 series. The B650 and X670 need a BIOS upgrade.

Don't assume everything is fine—before disposing of an old CPU, make sure your BIOS is up to date. Otherwise, it may fail to connect to the 9000 series.

Thanks for the updates! I purchased the 9900X because of the sale. The motherboard is expected to be back in stock soon, but prices have risen to around $500 now? That’s a bit surprising.
