I set up HWInfo64 to check for hot spots, hoping it won’t introduce audio delays. The temperature reading on ASUS Rog Maximus Hero IV is Temp#3. I searched the manual but didn’t find any info about adding temperature sensors to the motherboard headers. It looks like you didn’t install them yourself.

Temp 3 seems unlikely since it's locked at 50°C, which no sensor ever records. Even that temperature would fit within the operating limits of all parts on the board, so it shouldn't cause concern. The audio delay is probably elsewhere. It doesn’t appear to be a temperature problem based on what we can see.

Yesterday I cranked my fans to their maximum setting, and the latency problem disappeared. I’m confused about what you’re asking—it doesn’t seem like anything unusual. It might be related to a sensor, but it’s unclear why it’s difficult to locate on the motherboard.

It seems the system only responds to sensors that are present. You might try posting this issue on the HWInfo64 forum for a more targeted answer. A visual check of load temperatures could help—would you like guidance on capturing them? Also, using Hwinfo64 to view drive and memory temperatures is possible; let me know how they appear.

Check if the system displays chipset temperature readings. Ignore hard drive temps and focus on CPU/GPU stats.

I also found a 50c motherboard on Corsair's site, but I don't know where it is. It's really frustrating since I have both Corsair links and icons, yet I can't control anything because it isn't detected. Also, my ASUS case doesn't recognize my motherboard. With so many apps and the trouble involved...
