Hey everyone! I've been playing Mirror's Edge since the big EA Humble bundle event, and I decided to try it yesterday. I really enjoy the game so far, but I'm having some issues with the performance. The FPS drops significantly—sometimes to just 8 FPS. When I stand still, it's around 30-40 FPS, whereas in Battlefield 4 at ultra settings, it runs smoothly at 50 FPS during intense moments. I've adjusted the textures to medium and AA to 2x (it was 4x by default), but it didn't help much. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this? Any updates or patches would be great! Thanks!

It's quite old and you own a 6100 model running at 3.3 with a 770 rating.

I understand, I should boost the processor. Everyone says it works well on his setup with a 9800GTX and C2D.

I managed to play it on ultra using my i3 and the old HD 6570. Attempted to disable PhysX.

The issue lies because physX is enabled. Disable it in the launcher and restart the game.

I attempted to run (badum tss) without PhysX, but performance was limited. FPS dropped frequently, and even when stable, the experience lacked smoothness.

Open the Nvidia Control Panel, navigate to Configure, Surround, PhysX, and verify the PhysX configuration is either Auto or GPU.
