It's feasible to swap the battery, though I'm uncertain if it's a good idea. Many apps can't be updated because of old iOS versions.

Performance has been solid. The battery reports 99% capacity in 3UTools. It seems the device never runs out of power, almost matching how long my new 14 Pro Max lasts without needing a charge, and it still holds up to 40%.
