Need a system that will display FF 14 in all its glory, Should not take a Top-Of-the-line graphics card to do that. Not sure about the latest components, that is where i need the help, but I have been building PC's for a while. Toms is my bible!

This configuration is optimized for gaming at 1080P resolution. For optimal performance, a G-Sync compatible monitor is recommended; otherwise, this setup may not be worthwhile. The 120mm fan is positioned internally within the back panel of the case to function as a rear exhaust solution.

I just saw the section discussing your preference for an AMD card.

That's a huge overkill for the game, and I wouldn't suggest using a F CPU just to save 30 bucks when it's already more than enough.
It's best to have a G-Sync compatible monitor if you intend to play games, otherwise this build might be a waste.

Check this out ZERK. The OP has a mess of gaming laptops. Do you have any idea how much a gaming laptop cost? *Removed by moderator* . That's a $1500 build that will last the OP a good long time.

I noticed that, but everything I see only mentions not wanting ASUS, while showing interest in Nvidia and Gigabyte MB. Maybe the original poster should provide more details.

Check the performance of a 1080P gaming monitor. It costs significantly less than what some users spend on monthly streaming services like Netflix and Hulu.

The original post asks if using a laptop memory requires choosing a specific motherboard or CPU unless the B760 supports laptop SO-Dimms.
