I reviewed USD and Canadian prices on pcpartpicker.com and noticed the rates are quite affordable. It seems like a solid upgrade at a reasonable cost. You might be able to sell your existing CPU and recoup most of your investment. The right choice depends on your gaming needs and performance goals, but a 1070 paired with a 2600 looks like a balanced option (provided your RAM is fast enough).
