Since I favor M-atx models, I need an M-Itx motherboard. The A520M-ITX/ac is my current pick. In Germany it's about 80€ (around 92$). I can't afford a top-tier M-ITX board right now. Is the investment worthwhile?
It should work well with an 8-core Ryzen or up to a 12-core processor, as long as the VRM cooling is adequate. In an ITX setup, you're unlikely to need more than two RAM modules, so two slots are sufficient... You might notice the absence of a USB 10G front panel header, but overall it appears acceptable.
Thanks for the clarification. Since someone already has an older M-ITX motherboard, I’ll just replace the RAM with the new one.
Confirmed the memory options are limited but capable of handling up to 3600mhz with no issues. You’ll find sufficient USB ports—three 3.2 Gen 3.2 and two 2.0. It includes a 3.2 USB C PCIe x16 and an M.2 slot. The board features an onboard displayport 1.4 and HDMI 2.1, allowing smooth support for 4K integrated graphics if needed. Overall, it offers solid value for the price.
