He’s got a decent setup for gaming, but the specs aren’t ideal. The Core 2 Quad is solid, and the RAM should help, but the 4GB is tight for modern titles. The PS3 and Xbox 360 are great for entertainment, but they won’t power a top-tier Minecraft experience. With the old desktop and limited storage, you might need to upgrade more than just the parts. It could work if you optimize settings and use a good SSD, but overall it’s not going to match a modern PC.

The ram would strike the game quite forcefully, negatively. The CPU seems sufficient.
