I received a discount code with my 480, but I think I’ll pass it on to my cousin. My favorite games are Overwatch and Gears 4, and I’m excited about Revelation Online. I don’t have time for BF1 at least until next year, and even then I’m not sure I’ll get it. BFBC2 was enjoyable during its run, but honestly, this franchise doesn’t really appeal to me.

It's a combat zone if you've played any of the others—the gameplay feels right away familiar. You can almost accuse it of copying something, yet it still manages to stand out so fans can embrace its unique twists and defend them. No matter which side you support, the game has no connection to the First World War. If you're not clear on this, check out Peter Jackson's Hobbit series and compare it to the books; that’s how closely the game mirrors the real war. Every possible piece of military gear—no matter how unusual or untested—is included in the experience. I recall hearing about this topic in history lessons.

A perfect WW1 simulation would become monotonous.

I've been enjoying BF for roughly 12 years and can confidently say BF1 is my top pick (second or third if some past titles got updated). I often mention a few issues, but this time there were just a handful of small problems.

I tried the beta and ended up in rank 44. Now my career score is back at zero. Does that make sense? It’s enjoyable, but more about skill than actual ability.

It's a joke, but someone's thinking about what the next game might be named if Battlefield 2 is already out there!

Also a few points to note. The game features just nine maps, which is fewer than what Battlefield 4 offered. In terms of scale, they’re noticeably larger compared to the original titles. They’ve omitted French and Russian maps and plan to release them as DLC—definitely EA’s move. I’m aware many reacted negatively when Clone and Droid units weren’t included in Battlefront, and this seems similar. There are only 25 weapons available, which is a bit limited; I’d accept it but would prefer more options.
