I find the interface very appealing, it runs smoothly and feels reminiscent of Linux. Mavericks comes with iMovie, which is intuitive yet packed with more capabilities than Windows Movie Maker. However, the mouse behaves oddly in Minecraft—it sometimes misinterprets button presses. I might prefer using the right button to place items, but it still registers as a left click. The scroll wheel, which isn't a traditional wheel, is highly responsive and can cause items to swap unexpectedly.

It differs from Linux because it runs on FreeBSD instead.

I understand, the interface appears similar to Ubuntu or Fedora, particularly in the File Explorer.

I've been using a Macbook since 2011 and only recently switched back to Windows. I really like OS X and almost prefer it over Windows. The main drawback is that it doesn't support many of my games, which is common for others. Maybe I can run OS X in a virtual machine or vice versa to test things out. Regarding the Magic Mouse, I own one and I adore it. Using it for internet browsing and other productivity tasks gives me the best experience ever. Once you get the hang of it, you'll never want to use a regular mouse again.

I understood I was capable, though I lacked it then.

I haven’t spent much time using a Mac, so I don’t know exactly how it feels. Right now I’m using Windows 7 on my laptop, but I’ve installed Stardock’s Object dock there, making the desktop look more like OS X than Windows. Check it out.

I really enjoy Mac. I'm using a 2006 MacBook; it's hard to beat my mom's 2010 Vaio on the coffee table. She now uses a MacBook Pro—fast, clean, stylish, and efficient. Starting with 'c' is easier than managing priority lists. The BIOS isn't great, but pressing 'option' opens a menu with bootable media. Games are becoming more common on Mac, and companies like Feral Interactive will release versions soon, with a Mac release a few months later.
