In short, it's just a storage for old data. You could place it on a table or discard it instead of using it as a USB device.

Many conditions and possibilities. Improved options would be helpful. A practical upgrade could involve switching from DDR4 to DDR2.

Yeah, adapter that allows you to plug in older memory in newer systems. I dont know if thats possible though.
