Hey everyone, just checking how Arma 3 would perform without a graphics card. I'm excited because I'll have one soon and bought it today. I'm curious about what to expect with my current setup: a Core i7-4790K CPU, 8GB RAM, and an SSD. The GPU I'm getting is the GTX970—should that work? Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Running Arma without a GPU isn't possible. A GTX970 works well.

Running Arma without a GPU isn't too challenging. It's among the most graphics-light games available today. However, it relies quite a bit on CPU power, which is beneficial. Using an IGPU would likely maintain around 30 frames per second.

The situation remains largely the same since Arma 2.

No problem, it’s still the same really slow and glitchy game.
