I have tried the ram at 3200 and there is no difference in terms of performance or fps in games. Attached a screenshot of Cinebench Yes, it is a fresh install of windows 10.

The situation seems unusual; a 3600 should approach a Cinebench score near 3550CB. https://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/am...ew,10.html You might want to run the Cinebench R20 test again with HWInfo64 open to view temperatures and clock speeds.

You're seeing a low Cinebench R20 score, suggesting your CPU is operating below its base frequency—possibly due to thermal throttling. Running HWiNFO as recommended can help monitor temperatures and clock speeds during testing.

It looks like your CPU isn't ramping up properly—it stays stuck at Base Clock even when idle. Have you changed any BIOS settings? Consider resetting it and installing the Ryzen drivers from AMD’s site, which should unlock the Power Plans you need.

I adjusted the factory settings in the BIOS and added the chipset. Now I achieve around 80-100fps on D3, which feels almost the same as before. Are there any further tweaks you could make to improve performance or FPS?

The Ryzen 3600 offers only minor improvements compared to the 7700 for most users, particularly when paired with a less powerful graphics card. The D3 refers to a specific generation of Ryzen processors with enhanced performance features.

It works well across all platforms, delivering smooth performance at 90 to 100 frames per second.

Activate XMP/DOCP settings to boost your RAM speed to 3200Mhz, which may offer a modest performance increase. Beyond that, significant gains are limited. In games, the 3600 performs comparably to the 7700, but excels more in productivity tasks. If your GPU is already operating at full capacity, upgrading the CPU won’t make much difference since the GPU would remain the bottleneck. Ideally, you want the GPU to run at its maximum efficiency.
