Receiving conflicting details online about the issue. Unpacking armoured core 6 caused the drive to fail instantly. No signs in the BIOS, so it was completely lost. Not encountered before—no clear guidance. Recently installed new SSD (less than a year ago) without problems prior. Drive contains critical data I need to retrieve. Any checks or tests you recommend?

I would experiment with various SATA ports on the motherboard. If BitLocker wasn't activated, I suggest trying it on another machine. Also, consider checking another SATA power connection and cable.

Connect it to a different machine or an external case. If you’re not able to view the text, the device is likely nonfunctional. Data extraction might be possible using specialized recovery software. Please keep a backup handy.
