You know MemTestx86? Install both drives and reboot. Re-enable it and run the test to check for any issues.

It loads in its own OS environment, which excludes Windows and suggests a hardware problem. My next concern is whether the issue lies with the RAM, motherboard, or CPU. The simplest test would be to swap the suspected faulty stick with a working one in another machine or the slot where the functional stick resides. If it fails to POST or displays an abnormal amount of RAM, the faulty component is likely defective.
