The system functions well with just one stick of RAM, even two, operating at the highest speed on a single channel—around 2300MHz. This works only in slots 3 and 4; slot 1 and 2 are not compatible. The single stick won’t run in slots 1 and 2, but it does function properly in 3 and 4. I’ve seen similar issues on a forum where the memory controller was faulty or damaged. Even after replacing RAM twice, changing the motherboard, and swapping the CPU, the problem persists. It seems another faulty CPU might be the cause, though it’s hard to confirm. The person insists their RAM isn’t supported, but I tested the first good set available in the Netherlands and they still didn’t work.
If everything is brand new, (and I’m not sure if this works in your area) I’d return the whole unit to the original seller and have it repaired or sent back to where the CPU came from. Tell them what you think might be wrong and ask how they plan to fix it. I really need some guidance since I’m stuck.
Yeah, all the components are all new, and he already sent the components one per one to the place where he bought them from, but he actually should send the whole pc for inspection. There's no computer repair shops close to here either. But yeah, it's all kind of messed up, and I'll tell him that. Thanks for all your effort though!
