Hi everyone, I just installed my new PC with the Z790 gaming X-AX motherboard. I noticed that all my audio apps like VLC and YouTube now show up as microphone inputs in Discord. I'm on Windows 11 and have tried several fixes: switching plugin slots, using a different headset, updating drivers, testing a USB mic/camera, disabling the volume mixer, and turning off sound enhancements. Still no solution. Any suggestions? Thanks!

The audio is being captured through the microphone when using headphones, not misinterpreted.

It seems Stereo Mix is active as a source or a listening option in one of your inputs. Verify the Sound settings in Windows and ensure those choices are turned off.
