It's interesting! I've noticed similar things on my 3080 Ti. The 3080 Ti used an i9-9900K, and that CPU seems great for gaming. Since I'm not very experienced with AMD setups, I thought maybe the issue was how the CPU was feeding the frames.
Reliable voltage means a steady power supply that can keep the system running smoothly without sudden failures. Even if the voltage drops slightly, it shouldn’t cause the PC to crash or stop functioning properly. Low voltage can affect performance but doesn’t necessarily lead to immediate shutdown unless it’s critical.
It was a worthwhile attempt. We were also considering reverting to older drivers just in case the newest release caused issues (this is becoming more common).
HWMonitor displays the GPU's perceived performance limits in the Performance section. The GPU reacts more quickly than other parts and can tolerate minor fluctuations, but it will detect any significant deviations from safe ranges and reduce speed to maintain stability.
