Hey everyone, there seems to be a problem with my 7850 running WHQL 14.4 and the latest beta afterburner. After launching games, the GPU overclock resets back to 920MHz. When I switch back or manually overclock via Catalyst Control Center, it doesn’t work. I’ve checked with gpuz and noticed the same behavior. It’s a big issue since this card really benefits from overclocking. Only MSI Afterburner and Catalyst Control Center can handle it. I also rebooted my PC, but the problem still exists in Metro Last Light and other 3D Steam games. Anyone have any experience with this?

It might be similar to NVIDIA, but when your overclock exceeds the limit, it resets to standard performance. Could your clock speed be too high?

It's not my card, it's just a poor overclock (still stuck at 1125MHz, while my old one ran at 1300MHz). The last day was stable.

I just stumbled upon it, I don’t remember adjusting that option.
