Hi! You've been through Just Cause 3 quite a bit, but it tends to crash often. After a crash, launching JC3 or other games keeps you stuck at 24 fps. You're running an MSI GTX970 with 8GB RAM and an i5 4590. In Task Manager under Performance, no resource seems to be heavily using memory—just about the same as when idle.

Have you checked if the newest drivers are installed? Did you confirm the game cache?

I've set up the newest Nvidia driver 359.06. It confirms this is the most recent Game Ready driver for Just Cause 3 and Rainbow Six: Siege. I'm now checking the game cache.

The sole issue was that it didn’t accept my overclock settings, so I disabled it and it functioned properly.

I increased my GPU's speed by 165 on the CPU core and 225 on the memory.

Run it solely on stock, no issues there at all with stock settings.

It doesn’t seem like your issue is straightforward. Think about it in a more dramatic way—like Fluxx would say. Try reverting your clocks to stock first. What was your CPU speed in Task Manager? Did you also test your GPU using tools such as MSI Afterburner? Are there any error messages when the game crashes, and what does it happen?

It seems the game is experiencing issues with performance and optimization; unfortunately, that’s what we’re facing right now.

The program fails unexpectedly with the phrase "just cause."
