The computer will suddenly stop taking keyboard input, it may display a blue screen, two lights on the motherboard illuminate, and an error code appears. This has occurred twice recently, and the only solution so far is resetting the CMOS. Everything else worked normally—my mouse functioned and the system booted. Upon restarting, the first time none of the USB ports recognized themselves, showing only default and motherboard audio, which prompted the CMOS reset. For reference, my parts list is available here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8fyfcb

Hey there, have you considered updating the BIOS? Also check that all connections are secure and the CPU is correctly installed. If it boots for a while, verify that Windows is fully updated and your Asus motherboard drivers are current. Honestly, if it keeps showing BSOD with no ports detected, it might mean your motherboard has an issue. You could test it on another board to confirm the problem isn’t with your hardware.

I've refreshed the bios, but it still seems to reset after a while. I was using it for over six hours without any problems, then it would randomly stop again. All drivers are up to date on the board, but I need to verify my bios is current. It's odd because it only works temporarily before freezing. I'm currently logging in from the PC, so I'm not sure yet. Appreciate the help, I'll update the drivers soon.
