I tried it several times. It will copy at 60-80Mbps initially (USB 3.1 to 3.1), but after some time it will reduce the speed to 30Mbps.

It seems like a lot of small files are being copied, which can slow things down. Don’t stress too much unless it impacts performance.

The drive isn't fast enough for quick writing. The first copy works well since it's stored locally, but once the cache fills up, performance drops. This issue also appears in Windows 8.1.

Examine the chart, I understand it decreases, yet it stops abruptly at 30 from 70 and doesn't rise again.

Probably the storage buffer is getting full.

Midway through the document, there remains 88GB, indicating that a quick transfer would cover roughly 50GB... implying a cache of 50GB.

This was my query too, uploading 140 gigabytes, handling 25% of it in 60-70 seconds, then everything is complete.

Do you understand the speed is roughly correct? Plus, I guess the drive is heating up quite a bit by then—especially with overprovisioning and flash memory involved. Regardless, it’s definitely not a Windows issue if there’s even a problem at all.

It might work better with smaller files. I’m using Teracopy and could give that a shot.

I allocate 5GB of memory to your RAID drive configuration, ensuring the initial portion is processed at over 1GB per second, after which performance drops to 140MB per second.
